The Power of Juntos: How DC Entrepreneurs Connect and Thrive

At Dynamite Circle, our global community of entrepreneurs isn’t just about online discussions. It’s about meaningful, in-person connections. With an average of 20 Juntos happening every month, these meet-ups have become the heartbeat of our network, bringing collaboration, growth, and unforgettable experiences

What’s a Junto?

A ‘Junto’ is our insider term for a consistent, community driven meet-up where local DC members come together to share ideas, exchange experiences, and strengthen relationships. Typically held on the third Thursday of the month, Juntos provide a space for members to connect over business, travel, and personal growth—all while having a great time.

No matter where you are in the world, there’s a good chance a Junto is happening nearby. Whether you’re a seasoned member or brand new to DC, attending a Junto is the perfect way to immerse yourself in our vibrant entrepreneurial network.

What’s the Difference Between a Junto and a Meet-up?

A meet-up is any casual hangout with fellow DCers—grabbing coffee, bowling, or sharing a meal. A Junto, on the other hand, is the main event of the month, open to all members and designed for maximum engagement and value.

Creative Juntos That Inspire

Across the world, DC members have hosted incredible Juntos that go beyond the typical networking event. Here are some of our favorite examples:

Tejo in Medellin

Medellin Chapter played “Tejo,” a traditional Colombian game of stone tossing and explosives. A special “thank you” for our members that organized this cool activity!

River Tubing in Colorado

Over 20 DC meet-ups have been held worldwide in July, but the Colorado Chapter had one of the coolest. They got together for some river tubing and a BBQ.

The DC Junto Photo Contest

We love celebrating the creativity and energy of our Juntos! Every few months, we run a photo contest where the chapter with the best Junto snapshot wins $200 to put toward their next event. Stay tuned for the next contest, and don’t forget to capture those unforgettable moments. Here are a few examples of our winners:

Anyone can host a Junto, so why not you?

Anyone can host a Junto—it’s easier than you think! Here’s how to get started:

  1. Take the lead: If your local chapter doesn’t have a Junto planned, step up and organize one!

  2. Set a time and place: A consistent schedule (like the third Thursday) helps with attendance.

  3. Engage the group: Use your chapter’s WhatsApp group to gather ideas and confirm attendance.

  4. Add structure: Icebreakers, group discussions, or structured networking can enhance the experience.

  5. Have fun: Whether it’s a mastermind, a social event, or an activity, make it enjoyable for everyone.
