Connection, Masterminds & Local Culture
📅 Dates: February 24 - 26, 2026
📍 Location: Lisbon, Portugal
Join us in Lisbon for a gathering focused on connection, meaningful work, local culture, and great food. This community-led event will bring together local DC BLACK members as well as those who are a short plane, train, or automobile ride away.
This is a new DC BLACK event format, facilitated by local DC BLACK members and organized with the help of the DC Team. While details are still being finalized, we’re excited to share more in the coming weeks.
Local members are helping design the event to reflect Lisbon’s charm: unrushed, warm, and intentional. All of this is done to make it easy for the DC BLACK community to come together in a meaningful way in Q1.
Why Lisbon?
It was requested by DC BLACK members! We asked members to recommend a relatively convenient and great place to meet up with members in Q1, and Lisbon was a top pick. We’re excited to have an event here.
For members in Europe, this city is convenient to reach and a desirable destination year-round. Lisbon blends old-world charm with modern energy. It has historic neighborhoods, beautiful ocean views, incredible food, and a relaxed pace that fosters meaningful conversations. It’s a city that encourages walking, lingering over meals, and forming deep connections.
Schedule
Day 1 - “Welcome to Lisbon” | February 24
Welcome Dinner
We’ll kick things off with an activity and dinner featuring great Portuguese food. This first evening is about getting to know each other, setting intentions, and creating the foundation for a strong, connected group over the next few days.
Day 2 - “Down to Work” | February 25
Work Sessions
This day is dedicated to focused work and learning from each other. It will be a full day of sessions, including masterminds and skill-sharing. Lunch and light snacks will be included.
Evening Dinner
We’ll continue the conversations over a casual group dinner, keeping things informal and relaxed.
Day 3 - February 26 - “Explore the City”
The final day is about experiencing something you can only do in Lisbon, while deepening the connections built during the event.
We’ll share more details soon (the local members are helping plan this), but expect a local, culturally rich activity paired with good food and time to connect before wrapping up the event.
Venues and Locations
Details about Venues and Locations are being shared in the DC Forum.
