Seeking Speakers and Presenters for DCBKK 2023
If you’d like to present at DCBKK 2023, or know somebody who would be great at it, please let us know via this form.
We’ll be officially accepting applications through June 15th, but our team starts reviewing applications as they come in, so the earlier you can reach out to us, the better. Typically, our speaker selection process is competitive.
About DCBKK
For over 10 years, DCBKK has served as a highlight on the calendar for cashflow-focused entrepreneurs.
This October, 400 founders will be flying to Bangkok to share stories and forge new friendships.
Our attendees own a wide variety of digital-native businesses, from SaaS, ecommerce, agencies, productized services, publishing and many more.
30% of our attendees have achieved over $1,000,000 in revenue in the past 12 months. 24% of our membership is female founders.
This year’s DCBKK will feature a live stage show version of the Tropical MBA Podcast, main stage speakers, practical workshops, and conversational meetups.
We’re building out nearly 50 sessions (not including the many meetups that happen via our event app).
We’re officially seeking applications for founders who’d like to present at DCBKK.
Speaking at DCBKK is fun. It’s a great way to get the most out of your adventure to Thailand. What makes our community special is the caliber and intellectual engagement of the audience. You’ll be speaking and connecting with peers.
Speakers are treated to fully compensated tickets and invitations to our VIP speaker’s dinner.
You’ll work directly with our speaker coach. Our goal is to save you time in creating a successful presentation.
On top of that, DCBKK attendees sincerely appreciate your efforts. Speakers often leave the event with many fruitful connections, heaps of sincere thank-yous, and a story for future conferences, podcasts, and other media.
What makes a great speaker:
Speakers are willing to work directly with our speaker coach to focus their story to the DCBKK audience.
Speakers are passionate about their chosen topic, and are willing to be transparent (open kimono), acknowledge failures, and share details about their challenges.
If your target audience is founders, we will work with you to make sure your talk isn't a sales pitch, but is focused on an important lesson that you think our audience can benefit from.
Our audience especially loves stories that are in development, as in, not yet a success.
What we do not allow:
Any sort of pitching or lack of transparency about your motivations.
Pre-prepared speakers on ‘speaking tours.’
Next steps:
Applying to speak only takes a few minutes.
We’ll reply to everyone who fills out the form by the end of June.
All gatherings - even beyond stage speakers - that are promoted through our channels must go through this vetting process, it’s part of what makes these events tick.
Thanks for your ideas and we hope you are getting a jump start on a great summer.
