Airfare or accommodation. For your convenience, we have an exclusive DC discounted rate with our venue, the Hilton Mexico City Reforma.
Breakfast. However, if you book a room with the Hilton Reforma, you can access a delicious and diverse breakfast buffet.
Meals for your family members except dinner at the evening parties which spouses may attend with an add-on Party Pass, and the Kids’ Party
Why should I stay at the event venue?
Our new hotel partner, the Hilton Mexico City Reforma, has given us a great DC-only nightly rate with a bunch of extra perks: complimentary breakfast and Wifi, gym and paddle court access, indoor and outdoor pool, and more. Everything you need is at your fingertips.
DCers frequently share this pro tip around events: Stay at the venue hotel. Not only is it way more convenient, there’s a level of serendipity that you can’t get when you stay at another hotel or Airbnb. The “hallway track” is one of the underrated gems of these events.
This particular hotel came highly-rated by DCers, and we’ve already had great longstanding partnerships with other Hilton hotels (The Conrad Hilton in Bangkok, for example).
When is the best time to arrive in Mexico City?
Mexico City is a strong DC Chapter and fun place to be! We recommend staying as long as you can.
Before and after the event, there’ll be member-led activities organized in the WhatsApp Group. Feel free to arrive May 3 or 4, which is a couple days before the event officially begins. Leave whenever you’d like!
If you don’t have extra time for the pre- and post-hangouts, that’s totally fine. In that case, we recommend arriving May 5 and departing May 9 so you don’t miss any of the event.
Can my spouse/family come with me to DCMEX?
Many members travel to DC events with their significant others and children. We encourage it and many of our team members also bring their families.
The same rules of the event apply to your partner: The daytime sessions are reserved for registered and active DC members. If your partner is a DC member, they can attend all sessions with their own DCMEX ticket.
All partners are welcome to our 3 Evening Parties once they have a Party Pass. You can add it on to your ticket before checkout.
Party Passes are for spouses and significant others ONLY. Please DO NOT try to purchase one for a friend, team member, or business partner. They will not receive the pass.
What is Mastermind Day?
One of the most highly-rated days of every DC event, Mastermind Day is a rare opportunity to get feedback on your biggest business challenge.
We have an extensive mastermind matching process to place you in the best group of founders based on your revenue level and industry.
Mastermind groups are usually comprised of 6-8 attendees. Each person gets a chance to sit in the “Hot Seat” — share your challenge, get direct feedback from other participants.
The goal is for you to walk away with possible solutions and innovations that you can apply in your business immediately.
What does DCMEX look like for DC BLACK members?
As we do at every DC event, we’ll have special DC BLACK Day programming during Mastermind Day. This is a rare opportunity to spend focused time with other 7+ figure founders.
We’ll participate in a variety of business-focused talks: in-person masterminds to supplement your monthly virtual masterminds, “show-and-tell” sessions, and special guests.
We’ll also have exclusive meals together, with opportunities to catch up and have less structured conversations. Quality time is important for this group.
The rest of the event, you’ll get to integrate with the entire community.

Is there a dress code?
Unlike most business conferences, you’d be hard pressed to find a suit and tie at a DC event. “DC casual” is a-okay. During the day, we’re fine with t-shirts, jeans, flip flops, etc.
For our evening parties, most attendees prefer to dress up more for a ‘Smart Business Casual’ look. We’ll be sure to notify you about specific recommended dress codes for each evening party in advance.
Mexico's general climate is hot and humid, so prepare for that when you’re outside.
The hotel may be cold, so bring a sweatshirt or long pants to stay comfortable.
Can I invite a friend?
Of course! They need to join Dynamite Circle to attend. As a member, you can gift your friend 30 days of free access to the community.
This is a members-only event, so everyone attending is an active member of the community.
