DCX Gold Coast is run out of two fully equipped waterfront holiday mansions. It’s our private residence for the weekend all to ourselves and is a short walk or Uber to everywhere you might want to go.
Inside the mansions you’ll find:
Fully equipped kitchens and outdoor BBQ areas
Swimming pools
Cinema room
Pool table + table tennis
Multiple lounge and entertaining areas
Fast internet

Event Schedule
Thursday, April 9
Mansion check-in at 3pm
DC Gold Coast Junto. Warm up for the weekend with local DCers, guests, food, drinks and a classic DC Junto.
Friday, April 10
Member-lead group activities exploring the Gold Coast, or hang at the mansions. Past activities have included surfing, snorkelling, mountain bikes, hiking, spa days and more. Or enjoy a day at the mansions. We work hard to make sure that everyone has a great day.
Opening Night Community Dinner at the mansion. Led by Chef Leon. Ingredients provided. BYO Alcohol. We pay close attention to dietary requirements and make the most of our BBQ area and fully equipped kitchen as we cook up a storm and feast together.
Saturday, April 11
Mansion Masterminds. We match attendees into mastermind groups and spend a day taking turns in the hotseat with DC style masterminds. We provide morning tea and lunch during scheduled breaks.
An evening of food adventures. We’ll visit the iconic Miami Marketta with an infinite variety of food and drinks to choose from with an exciting street market atmosphere. Attendees pay their own way.
Sunday, April 12
Presentations, guided discussions, group activities. We’ll convert a mansion living room into a conference hall. Learn from the cutting edge of what DCers are up to today. From lightning talks, to interviews, to stage style presentations. Many of the workshop, main stage, and meetup presentations and global DC events start their life as a presentation at a DCX event like this.
Closing lunch and afternoon celebration. Spend Sunday afternoon with food and drinks around the pool as we head into the evening. Food provided. BYO Alcohol.
Monday, April 13
Mansion check-out at 9am
“As a 3x attendee, DCx Gold Coast has been one of my favourite DCx events around the world (and I've visited many and hosted one myself). The unique event location at a waterfront mansion creates a relaxed, intimate atmosphere allowing for casual (or deep) chats by the pool, comfortable masterminds throughout the house and a member organised BBQ (thanks Leon!). The optional local adventures such as snorkelling with turtles or mountain biking were another unique way of hanging out with DCers without the constant rushing of a regular conference. As a local attendee, I don't stay at the mansion but rather commute from home - which I don't feel takes away from the experience at all, and I always felt welcome to hang out at the house. So even if you prefer booking your own accommodation, this event is still highly recommended.”
